In chemistry it is sometimes challenging to distinguish the differences between a chemical and a physical change.

During the Institute were shown several different experiments to illustrate the differences in each type of change. The worksheet we received had us make observations, document data, and analyze the data.

​

I really appreciated this experiment because the demonstrations and hands-on activities helped clarify some ways to demonstrate each change to my students. I will us these experiments to help introduce these concepts in my classroom.
