Perot Museum of Nature and Science:
STEM Institute 2016-2017
During the summer of 2016, the Perot Museum STEM Institute's content focus was chemistry. Every day there was a content dive and then several experiments, breakouts, field trips and connections to emphasize or elaborate on the content learned.

During the school year, the workshops I attended as part of the STEM Institute, covered chemistry, energy, physics, and astronomy. These workshops were designed to help attendees to learn more content knowledge in these areas and to be able to provide new ways of sharing their knowledge with students. Although I do not have my own classroom yet, I have learned many techniques that I can bring to my future classroom.
